## About the Role

* Good understanding of firmware and embedded systems architectures (general knowledge is sufficient; firmware development experience is not required).
 * Knowledge of embedded hardware, including ARM processors (or equivalent), communication protocols (PI, I2C, parallel), and debug interfaces (JTAG, SWD).
 * Familiarity with IoT devices, connected systems, and edge computing.
 * Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, and related protocols.
 * Ability to identify potential security risks by thinking like an attacker.
 * Experience identifying vulnerabilities and attack surfaces in embedded and IoT systems, including hardware and firmware.
 * Understanding of common security threats in embedded environments, such as physical attacks, hardware manipulation, and bus sniffing.
 * Knowledge of security risk assessment methodologies, including ISO 27005 principles.
 * Familiarity with Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) for industrial or IoT environments.
 * Ability to perform and document security risk assessments.

Nice to have:

 * Knowledge of ASPICE 4.0 and ISO 26262 (Functional Safety).
