## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
 * CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent industry-recognised qualification)
 * Demonstrated knowledge of network security, application security and system hardening
 * Practical experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and secure infrastructure design
 * Familiarity with security tools, vulnerability scanners and SIEM platforms
 * Understanding of secure coding principles and CI/CD security practices
 * Strong technical foundation in Linux, Windows and scripting (Python, Bash)
 * Knowledge of APIs, microservices and distributed systems architecture
 * Ability to communicate security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
 * Right to work in the United Kingdom

## Description

* Conducting security assessments and vulnerability analysis across infrastructure, applications and systems
 * Supporting the design and implementation of security controls aligned to industry standards and frameworks
 * Contributing to incident response activities, including threat detection, containment and remediation
 * Collaborating with engineering and infrastructure teams to embed security practices into development pipelines and deployment processes
 * Assisting with security audits, compliance reviews and documentation of security posture
 * Participating in security architecture discussions and contributing technical recommendations
