## About the Role

* 3-5 years' experience in cybersecurity, IT security or a related security discipline
 * Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards and compliance requirements (such as ISO 27001, NIST or PCI DSS)
 * Hands-on experience with security tools, SIEM platforms and network security technologies
 * Understanding of common threat vectors, attack methods and defensive strategies
 * Experience with vulnerability assessment, penetration testing or security auditing
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
 * Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate security concepts for non-technical stakeholders
 * Right to work in the United Kingdom

Additional strengths could include:

 * Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+ or GIAC qualifications
 * Experience in specific sectors such as financial services, healthcare or critical infrastructure
 * Knowledge of cloud security, application security or secure development practices
 * Experience with security automation and infrastructure-as-code

## Description

* Supporting the design, implementation and maintenance of security infrastructure and controls
 * Contributing to security assessments, vulnerability testing and penetration testing activities
 * Assisting with threat analysis, incident response and security remediation efforts
 * Collaborating with infrastructure and development teams to embed security best practices
 * Supporting the documentation and communication of security policies and procedures
 * Contributing to compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting where applicable
