## About the Role

* Proven experience in test automation and software development engineering in test
 * Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, or equivalent)
 * Hands-on experience with API and microservices testing
 * Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
 * Experience with SQL and relational databases
 * Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
 * Right to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have

 * Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
 * Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)
 * Familiarity with SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC or RISE)
 * Experience with data quality validation and ETL testing
 * Linux or Windows system administration skills
 * Exposure to Spring Boot, Spring Framework or React
 * Power BI or advanced Excel proficiency
 * Certifications in QA, BPMN, UML or related methodologies

## Description

* Designing and implementing automated test frameworks for APIs, microservices and distributed systems
 * Developing and maintaining test automation across cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
 * Supporting CI/CD pipeline integration and test execution in continuous delivery workflows
 * Writing test code in languages such as Java, Python or C# (.NET / ASP.NET) to validate application functionality
 * Collaborating with development teams to identify, document and validate defects
 * Maintaining test data quality and supporting data pipeline validation
 * Troubleshooting test failures and contributing to improvements in test coverage and reliability
 * Supporting SAP environments (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP RISE) where applicable to the role
 * Contributing to test strategy and quality assurance practices within the team
