## About the Role

* Proven experience designing and implementing SAP architecture (S/4HANA, ECC or RISE)
 * Strong understanding of modern technology stacks: microservices, APIs, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
 * Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and CI/CD delivery practices
 * Technical depth in backend frameworks (.NET, ASP.NET, Java, Spring Boot) and data platforms
 * Experience with integration technologies, distributed systems design and data pipeline architecture
 * Familiarity with SAP governance, technical leadership and design principles
 * Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
 * Based in the UK, with willingness to work across multiple locations

The work could involve partnering with technical teams, business stakeholders and delivery partners to shape system architecture that balances innovation with stability, scalability with cost-effectiveness.What you would doTypical responsibilities could include:

 * Designing SAP system architecture aligned with business objectives and technology strategy
 * Developing integration strategies connecting SAP systems with microservices, APIs and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
 * Leading architecture reviews and technical governance frameworks for SAP implementations
 * Collaborating with engineering, data and infrastructure teams on system design, CI/CD pipelines and deployment architecture
 * Supporting SAP migration programmes, whether from SAP ECC to S/4HANA or adopting SAP RISE
 * Contributing to technical standards, BPMN and UML documentation for complex system designs
 * Advising on data architecture, quality frameworks and reporting solutions such as Power BI
