## About the Role

* Proven experience in an IT support or helpdesk environment
 * Experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365
 * Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications
 * Familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft Intune is advantageous
 * Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
 * Excellent troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
 * Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
 * Ability to manage workload effectively, prioritise tasks, and work independently
 * Approachable, and customer-oriented manner
 * High level of attention to detail
 * Proactive, hands-on approach with a positive "can-do" attitude
 * Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
 * Hold a full UK driving licence

## Description

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused IT Support Technician to deliver high-quality technical support across the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, supporting users both remotely and on-site, and contributing to the effective operation and maintenance of the company's IT systems and infrastructure., * Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to end users across the business

 * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, printing, and network-related issues
 * Install, configure, and maintain laptops, mobile devices, and associated peripherals
 * Manage user accounts, including provisioning, password resets, and access permissions
 * Support and administer Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
 * Respond to and manage IT support tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution
 * Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment setup and access management
 * Maintain accurate inventory records for IT equipment and software licences
 * Promote and adhere to cybersecurity best practices and internal IT policies
 * Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers as required
 * Visit McConnell sites to setup and maintain networking equipment
