## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
 * Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
 * Proficiency in SQL and experience with data quality analysis and requirements gathering
 * Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
 * Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
 * Experience with CI/CD practices and version control
 * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
 * Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice-to-have experience could include:

 * Google Cloud Data Engineer certification or equivalent
 * Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
 * Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
 * Programming experience in Python, Java or similar languages
 * Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI
 * Experience with SAP environments or enterprise data systems

 * Developing and maintaining ETL processes and data workflows
 * Working with cloud platforms and data technologies to optimise data storage, access and performance

 * Troubleshooting data pipeline issues and improving system reliability
