## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience in cybersecurity
 * CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent security qualification
 * Knowledge of security principles across cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
 * Understanding of network security concepts, including firewalls, DMZ architecture and network segmentation
 * Familiarity with security tools and technologies relevant to your experience
 * Knowledge of operating systems including Linux and Windows administration and hardening
 * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within security teams
 * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

We're looking for skilled professionals to join teams protecting critical infrastructure and digital assets across our organisation. Roles of this type could involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security controls, and respond to emerging threats in a dynamic environment.What you would doTypical responsibilities could include:

 * Designing and implementing security controls and defense strategies across cloud and on-premises environments
 * Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security gaps
 * Supporting the deployment and management of security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems and network segmentation
 * Collaborating with development teams to integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines and microservices architectures
 * Monitoring and analysing security events and incidents, responding to threats and contributing to incident response procedures
 * Documenting security configurations, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
 * Contributing to security awareness and best practices across the organisation
