## About the Role

* Proven experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles, supported by relevant certifications (such as Security+, CEH, CISSP or equivalent)
 * Strong technical knowledge of network security, infrastructure, threat analysis and risk assessment
 * Familiarity with security frameworks, standards and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.)
 * Experience conducting security assessments, penetration testing or vulnerability analysis
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related discipline
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
 * Authorization to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have skills could include:

 * Experience in specific industries such as financial services, healthcare or critical infrastructure
 * Advanced certifications beyond entry-level security qualifications
 * Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) platforms
 * Knowledge of cloud security, application security or secure software development

## Description

* Conducting security assessments and vulnerability testing across client and internal environments
 * Analysing security risks and recommending appropriate controls and remediation strategies
 * Supporting the implementation and maintenance of security policies, standards and procedures
 * Collaborating with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with security frameworks
 * Providing advice on emerging threats and best-practice security solutions
 * Contributing to security audits, incident response planning and business continuity efforts
 * Documenting findings and delivering clear, actionable security recommendations
