Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position might require long hours and weekend work., Required

 * Must know RPG, CLP, and SQL.

Preferred

 * 7 year(s): Experience in business system delivery using modern RPG techniques.
 * Experienced with IBM i tools used for interacting in a three-tier architectural model.
 * Understands ILE concepts and is competent in their use.
 * Experience with IBM Rational Developer for i a strong plus.
 * Familiar with Service Oriented Architectural (SOA) principles.
 * Self-starter with professional discipline who is at home with a fast-paced team environment., Preferred
 * Bachelor's Degree or better

## Description

This position analyzes, designs, modifies, writes and implements software associated with ACE corporate information systems and provides production support for installed applications.

Major Responsibilities

 * Designs and writes IBM i corporate software.
 * Participates in the testing process to certify that the software performs as required.
 * Consults with others in a multi-platform environment to evaluate interfaces between hardware and
software, including operational and performance requirements.

 * Provides production support when needed.
 * Interacts with various members of the business community through efficient and effective communication.
