## About the Role

* Experience with building automation systems (Niagara, Distech, ACAD preferred)
 * Knowledge of protocols like BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks
 * Strong understanding of HVAC, lighting, energy, and security systems
 * Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
 * Degree in engineering or relevant field, or equivalent experience
 * Willingness to travel to client sites as needed

Physical Requirements

 * Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach as needed.
 * Ability to walk active job sites, including climbing stairs and ladders and navigating uneven surfaces.
 * Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
 * Ability to wear required PPE during site visits.

Sunrise - Join our team as a Building Automation Project Engineer in Miami and support large scale medical projects. You'll work on integrating HVAC, lighting, energy management, and security systems into high-performance buildings, collaborating closely with field teams and clients., * Design and implement building automation systems based on project needs

 * Integrate HVAC, lighting, security, and energy platforms
 * Create system schematics, wiring diagrams, and control sequences
 * Program controllers, sensors, and automation devices
 * Support final commissioning and provide technical assistance to field teams and end users
 * Stay current with industry standards, technologies, and best practices
 * Ensure projects meet safety codes and regulatory requirements
