## About the Role

* Basic understanding of IT concepts (hardware, software, networking)
 * Strong customer service and communication skills
 * Ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically
 * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
 * Dependable with strong attention to detail
 * Previous help desk or customer-facing experience is a plus, but not required

Work Environment Requirements

 * 100% onsite role - candidates must be able to work from either:
 * Naperville, Illinois or
 * Marshalltown, Iowa
 * Ability to work the scheduled shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM CT

## Description

Mechdyne is seeking Seasonal Level 1 IT Help Desk Agents to support a key client during a critical high-demand period. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, delivering excellent customer service, and building foundational IT support experience in a fast-paced environment.

This seasonal position will run from July through December, aligning with a significant ramp-up period for one of our major clients.

Key Responsibilities

 * Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems
 * Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network issues
 * Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner
 * Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed
 * Deliver excellent customer service with clear communication and professionalism
 * Follow established processes, documentation, and service-level agreements (SLAs)
 * Assist with account setup, password resets, and system access requests
