## About the Role

* 6-10 years of experience in DevOps engineering with strong cloud infrastructure background
 * Hands-on experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline development
 * Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, Ansible)
 * Proficiency across both AWS and Azure cloud platforms
 * Experience deploying and managing containerized applications on EKS
 * Experience with patch management and vulnerability management processes and tooling
 * Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
 * Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment
 * U.S. Citizenship (per contract requirements)

Desired Skills and Competencies:

 * AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
 * Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate
 * Prior experience supporting federal government contracts
 * Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (Tenable, Nessus, or similar)
 * Experience with container security best practices

## Description

Imagineeer is seeking a DevOps Engineer (NGSC) focused on building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation across AWS and Azure environments. This role will drive infrastructure-as-code practices, container orchestration, and platform security operations including patch and vulnerability management in support of federal mission requirements., * Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to support application and infrastructure deployment

 * Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, Ansible, and related tooling
 * Architect and support cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments
 * Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized workloads on Amazon EKS
 * Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve deployment speed, reliability, and consistency
 * Manage patch management processes across infrastructure and application environments
 * Support vulnerability management activities, including scanning, remediation tracking, and reporting
 * Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to align DevOps practices with federal security and compliance requirements (NIST, FISMA)
 * Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure, pipeline, and deployment issues
 * Partner with Program Management and technical leads to support contract deliverables and documentation
