## About the Role

* Demonstrated Mission Planning experience

 * Experience handling COMSEC information

 * Ability to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II certification \(Security\+, CySA\+, or CCNA\) within 60 days of hire

 * Willingness and ability to work extended hours, odd/off\-shifts and weekends as needed

 * Ability to attain and maintain both Secret collateral and SAP program clearances

Desired Skills:

 * F\-35 Mission Planning Environment \(MPE\) experience with JMPS

 * F\-35 Multi\-Ship Virtual Development Lab \(MVDL\) experience

 * Experience Troubleshooting Applications

 * Account Maintenance with Active Directory/Oracle/CRM

 * Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases and network equipment

 * Virtual Machine Management Service \(Hyper\-V / VMware\)

 * Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components

## Description

The F\-35 Mission Planning Test & Evaluation Administrator's primary role will be to support flight test activities at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station on the F\-35B and F\-35C aircraft as part of the Air Vehicle Mission Planning Environment \(MPE\) team\. This team is responsible for the F\-35 mission planning systems and processes to include, but not limited to:

\- Deploying mission plans for communications/datalinks, sensor configurations and weapon system planning

\- Coordinating with Mission Systems and Weapon Integration teams and pilots to deploy and evaluate new capabilities

\- Responsible for both ground and airborne COMSEC configurations

\- Coordinating with Test Operations, Flight Operations, and Aircraft Maintenance teams

\- MPE hardware and network deployment and administration

\- MPE software installation of the latest developmental releases, maintaining user accounts, and supporting system audits

\- Supporting MPE and other MS related support equipment related maintenance and troubleshooting efforts

This position will require maintaining a DoD IAT Level II certification \(i\.e\. CompTIA Security\+\)\.
