## About the Role

* 2-4 years of experience supporting healthcare information systems in a hospital environment
 * Experience supporting MEDITECH or other Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems preferred
 * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
 * Knowledge of SQL, HL7, FHIR, or interface integrations preferred
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
 * Strong communication and collaboration skills

Requirements

 * Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
 * Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card within 30 days

## Description

At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, our Information Systems team plays a critical role in supporting the technology that powers patient care and hospital operations. We're seeking a skilled Application Analyst to support, optimize, and enhance clinical and business applications across the organization.

What You'll Do

 * Support and maintain healthcare information systems and clinical applications
 * Research, analyze, and recommend software and system solutions to meet business needs
 * Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot applications and system functionality
 * Support system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing optimization efforts
 * Manage and prioritize support requests through the IT help desk ticketing system
 * Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve workflows
 * Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials
 * Monitor system performance, logs, and scheduled processes
 * Assist with interface integrations and application support initiatives
 * Support education and training efforts related to new systems and upgrades
