## About the Role

The Senior Business Analyst - HL7 Interfaces serves as a domain expert for healthcare interoperability and system integrations. This role is responsible for leading requirements discovery, workflow analysis, and stakeholder collaboration for HL7- and FHIR-based interfaces across EMR and enterprise systems. The position requires a strong understanding of patient workflows, interface engines, Epic Bridges, and Agile delivery practices, along with the ability to effectively engage vendors and technical teams.

*Only considering candidates with Epic Bridges Certification and 5 years experience required in healthcare IT or integration-focused business analysis, along with HL7 experience., + Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Information Technology, Business, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 + Experience: 5 years required in healthcare IT, system integration, or API-focused business analysis.

 + Additional Skills (required):

 + Working knowledge of API concepts, including REST, API contracts, and documentation standards.

 + Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting requirements for system integrations or APIs.

 + Additional Skills (preferred):

 + Experience supporting API initiatives in a healthcare environment.

 + Familiarity with Swagger / OpenAPI documentation tools.

 + Experience working with integration platforms or enterprise integration teams.

 + Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

## Description

+ Develop and maintain interface specifications, mapping documents, and acceptance criteria.

 + Drive vendor discussions by asking informed technical and workflow-based questions.

 + Identify when architectural input is required and proactively engage integration architects.

 + Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage backlog items using Azure DevOps or Jira.

 + Communicate risks, dependencies, and status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
