Professional or equivalent * TOGAF 9 or equivalent enterprise architecture certification * Familiarity with event bus architectures, Kafka/MSK, and enterprise integration patterns Education: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT (Required) Experience: * Enterprise cloud architecture for Federal systems: 15 years (Required) License/Certification: * AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (Preferred) * TOGAF 9 (Preferred) ## Description * Design and maintain enterprise cloud and platform architectures including AWS GovCloud, EKS-based Kubernetes, multi-region resiliency, and event-driven integration patterns. * Develop and maintain high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) documentation, updated each Program Increment. * Lead architectural governance, design reviews, and standards enforcement across platform engineering teams. * Design and implement Istio service mesh architecture, Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, and CI/CD pipeline architectures. * Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and modernization strategies aligned with VA Enterprise Architecture and TRM. * Collaborate with the Senior Architect and technical leads to ensure architectural consistency across all environments. * Ensure all architecture complies with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and VA Enterprise Architecture guidelines. * Support cloud modernization initiatives, including migration planning and architectural risk assessments. ## Related Videos -
