Five (5) additional years of system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. * DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I required; IAT Level II certification desired. * Demonstrated experience designing, deploying, and maintaining systems within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment, including supporting cloud-based infrastructure, automation, and operational reliability. * Strong experience administering Linux-based servers, including system patching, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and implementation of security hardening best practices. * Experience implementing and maintaining system security measures, with a current understanding of security best practices for cloud and enterprise environments. * Experience managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates, including certificate renewal, replacement, and troubleshooting certificate-related issues. * Experience supporting security and compliance tools, including Nessus, UAM, CYBORGBUNNY, and LATTEART. * Ability to independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve operational issues across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments. Desired: * Experience with ElasticSearch or other distributed search/analytic engines * Experience with Kubernetes * Experience with ArgoCD ## Description We're looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer / Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team and help drive the evolution of a modern infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on automation, scalability, and building resilient systems using the latest technologies-especially within the AWS ecosystem. As part of our DevOps team, you'll play a key role in transforming and operating mission-critical systems across both unclassified and classified environments, leveraging cloud-native architectures and best-in-class managed services. Responsibilities include: * System analysis of the current system in use and developing plans for enhancements and improvements. * Production support for mission critical systems and applications * Troubleshooting and resolving errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues * Managing, evaluating, and installing patches on Windows and Linux systems * Performing cloud deployment and management * CI/CD management and deployment * Performance assessment, monitoring and recommending performance enhancements * Infrastructure management for multiple disconnected networks * Continuous testing at various stages of the development cycle * Writing and maintaining documentation * Helping to implement a DevOps culture The selected candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of multiple servers in both unclassified and classified environments.
