Typical Education * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. * Educational Requirements may vary by Geography ## Description The Electrical Hardware Engineer works with cross-functional teams including other designers, customers, manufacturing engineering, and project leadership to ensure robust and high-quality product development. They enhance designs with feedback from reviews in areas such as manufacturing, test, supply chain, reliability, industrial design, and simulations. They also provide support throughout the manufacturing process of the electrical/mechanical system they have designed. The Electrical Hardware Engineer develops new electrical systems/circuits for various applications. They research system ideas, create architectures for these systems, and then capture them in schematics and system specifications. They test, simulate, validate, and qualify their systems, making adjustments as needed. Detailed Description Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: * Design and develop technical solutions without assistance in a limited number of technical fields supporting common segments/technologies. May also solve complex problems in cooperation with a team of other engineers. * Represent the engineering team in technical customer meetings and project reviews. * Research systems ideas and draw up plans for these systems. * Design, modify, and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs. * Create designs in line with Celestica's procedures, regulations, and customer standards. * Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations. * Solve complex problems. * Liaise with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.
