* Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.

 * Minimum of five (5) years of Medical Billing and insurance claim filing experience.

 * Certified Coding Certification preferred.

 * Familiarity with medical billing software.

## Description

The Charge Entry Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely posting of our medical charges., *
Posts charges received through import by correct coding guidelines.

 * Posts charges received manually by correct coding guidelines.

 * Review encounter tracking to ensure all billing is captured.

 * Effectively communicates with site managers to obtain all necessary information for billing.

 * Effectively communicates with physicians to resolve billing issues.
