Under the general supervision of the Information Technology Supervisor I (IT Sup I) the Information Technology Associate (ITA) is responsible for providing immediate support within the Regional Offices to users utilizing California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Information Technology (IT) equipment. The ITA serves as a "Single Point of Contact" IT support analyst for all CDSS Regional Office users, including hardware and software support, and to provide advice, consultation, and analytical problem solving assistance in complex end user computing. Working Conditions This position is eligible for hybrid work in accordance with the Governor's Executive Order N-22-25 and at the sole discretion of the Department of Social Services under California Government Code Section 14200. Provide an example of a time you dealt with a difficult customer. What steps did you take, and what was the outcome? 2. Describe a technical project you worked on with others. What was your role and responsibility, and was the end result? You are required to complete employment history on the application form (STD 678).
