Domain Experience * Proven experience working within financial services or similarly regulated environments. * Strong understanding of: * Governance, risk, and compliance requirements * Change control and audit practices * Secure platform operations Desirable Skills * Exposure to SRE practices (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, observability). * Experience with monitoring and logging tools * Familiarity with hybrid or multi-cloud environments. * Knowledge of security best practices in container platforms. * Red Hat certifications (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE, OpenShift certification) are advantageous. Soft Skills * Strong collaboration and communication skills. * Ability to work with cross-functional teams (platform, infrastructure, applications). * Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. * Strong analytical and problem-solving ability., * Hands-on, "get things done" operator. * Strong ownership and accountability. * Customer-focused, supporting internal platform users (application teams). * SRE mindset - focused on improving reliability, reducing toil, and automating repetitive tasks. ## Description AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced OpenShift Platform Engineer to join our OpenShift platform team on a contract basis, providing critical backfill support. The role focuses on the operational management, support, and continuous improvement of our enterprise OpenShift platform running on x86 infrastructure, within a highly regulated financial services environment. The successful candidate will be hands-on, operationally strong, and proactive, with a solid SRE mindset to enhance platform reliability, performance, and user experience for internal application teams.
