## About the Role

* 10+ years of software engineering experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications and platforms
 * 5+ years of architecture experience defining solution, application, cloud, or enterprise architectures
 * Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including compute, networking, storage, identity, security, and platform services
 * Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI/ML and generative AI solutions
 * Strong experience with enterprise data platforms, data architecture, analytics, and data governance
 * Strong programming skills in C#, Python, SQL, and modern software development frameworks
 * Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and DevOps practices
 * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines
 * Insurance, financial services, or highly regulated industry experience preferred
 * Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer, or related certifications preferred
 * Strategic thinker with hands-on technical depth and the ability to balance architecture vision with delivery execution
 * Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and ownership skills

## Description

* Define and own cloud and AI architecture, ensuring scalable, resilient, and secure solutions aligned to business strategy
 * Lead Azure platform engineering and migrations
 * Architect AI/ML and generative AI solutions
 * Drive enterprise data platform strategy using Microsoft Fabric, Azure
 * Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices for cloud-native application development
 * Lead delivery across multiple programs, providing technical oversight and solution governance
 * Ensure security, compliance, and governance requirements are embedded into all solution designs
 * Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable technology solutions
 * Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership on architecture, cloud engineering, AI adoption, and software development practices
 * Develop and maintain the enterprise Azure & AI roadmap, aligning investments with business priorities and emerging technology trends
