## About the Role

The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and experience as a Sr. Cobol Developer.
Experience with Fujitsu Net Cobol or MicroFocus Cobol desired.
Experience with relational databases required (Sybase a plus).
MQ, Unix and Unix shell scripting a plus.
Solid experience in full software development cycle, including application architecture, technical specs, analysis, software development, testing large-scale software applications, assisting SQA teams with UAT testing, production support.
Experience in the financial industry with knowledge of trade flow and corporate actions a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Exceptional interpersonal communication and strong team collaboration skills.
Good project management skills.
Possesses the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience testing software designed for elaborate business scenarios.
Aptitude for learning new things and flexibility to adapt and follow guidelines.
Mandatory Skills: COBOL .
