Proven experience managing multi-site network environments. This position involves access to export-controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization. If hired, you will be required to provide valid proof of such status. Desired Characteristics Technical Skills: Expertise in Cisco or similar networking technologies (routing, switching, firewalls). Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and network security principles. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies. Certifications: CCNP or equivalent preferred. ## Description We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer III to join our team in Baltimore, MD. This is an onsite position responsible for managing and supporting network infrastructure across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical expertise in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting, as well as strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate across teams and locations. What YOU will do: Network Administration & Maintenance Configure, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple sites. Ensure network performance, availability, and security meet organizational standards. Troubleshooting & Support Diagnose and resolve complex network issues promptly to minimize downtime. Provide Tier III support for escalated network problems. Implementation & Upgrades Plan and execute network hardware/software upgrades and migrations. Deploy and integrate new technologies to optimize network performance. Security & Compliance Implement and enforce network security policies, firewalls, and VPN configurations. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and operational documentation. Prepare reports on network health, capacity planning, and incident resolution. Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
