## About the Role

* Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
 * 5+ years experience in embedded C/C++ and assembly language programming
 * Experience with real time operating systems & requirements
 * Firmware design and programming experience with 8-32-bit microprocessors (Microchip/Atmel 8-32 bit), including a thorough understanding of embedded system architecture design and development, as well as maintenance & test capabilities
 * Ability to analyze hardware design documentation to determine appropriate user interface and driver solutions
 * Excellent debugging skills in low level software and hardware
 * Ability to work independently & effectively with little supervision
 * Excellent communication skills

## Description

* Primary responsibility will be to work with Marketing & Sales force to evolve product specifications and associated design schedules and then lead the firmware/hardware development effort on a range of endpoint power management products.

Additional responsibilities:

 * Support CNC machine tools, wire crimping machines, and wire stripping machines
 * Design production and calibration equipment
 * Test Equipment to UL Standards
