Compliance Skills: * Familiarity with data governance, privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR), and industry-specific compliance frameworks. * Ability to interpret and apply contractual EDI requirements. Soft Skills: * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Attention to detail and accuracy. * Communication skills for liaising with IT, business, and external partners. ## Description Our EDI Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems that enable secure, automated exchange of business documents (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, shipping notices) between organizations and their trading partners. In a compliance context, the role also ensures that all EDI processes adhere to industry standards, data security regulations, and contractual obligations. The EDI Specialist ensures that electronic data exchange is not only technically sound but also legally and operationally compliant, reducing risks and improving supply chain efficiency.
