This position works under the direction of the Site Manager and requires thorough knowledge of personal computer software systems for accounting, word processing, and data management, as well as supervision and procedures for operating a service department. This position supports a federal government contract and is subject to applicable federal contractor compliance requirements including CMMC., * Reviews service order scopes and plans to determine project timeframes, procedures, staffing requirements, and allocation of available resources across project phases * Schedules work plans and staffing requirements for each phase of a project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of subcontract personnel where applicable * Confers with project staff to outline work plans and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority * Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget * Modifies project schedules, plans, and assigned personnel as required * Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve issues throughout the project duration * Maintains facility records in DMLSS * Maintains a tracking system for funded and unfunded corrective maintenance and unscheduled work received and completed * Assists the Site Manager in preparing and submitting monthly progress reports * Monitors maintenance requests and ensures work orders are processed and completed in an efficient and effective manner * Performs quality inspections on staff tasks through frequent job site visits * Tracks and documents completion of all work performed by subordinates in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and other designated databases * Ensures all building files, drawings, and maintenance records are kept current and maintained as required * Other duties as assigned, This position is located on a federally controlled installation and requires the following as a condition of employment: * Successful completion of a comprehensive federal background check * Pre-employment drug screening with a negative result * Ongoing compliance with HHS Government Services' Drug-Free Workplace policy As a federal contractor, HHS maintains a strict drug-free workplace.
