## About the Role

* 1+ years of IT support or help desk experience preferred
 * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
 * Basic understanding of IT systems, including hardware, software, and networking
 * Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff
 * Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks
 * Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
 * Must be available for on-call work during weekends
 * Applicants must pass a criminal background check
 * Safe driving history - a Motor Vehicle Record check will be reviewed
 * A positive, solution-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
 * Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset

## Description

The IT Support Technician provides basic troubleshooting and help desk support to staff and systems, ensuring the smooth operation of IT services and equipment. The position requires in-office work one day per week and the availability to provide on-call support during weekends., * Provide timely IT support, troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity

 * Assist staff with technical problems both remotely and in-person
 * Document and track support tickets to resolution
 * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient handling of ongoing technical issues
 * Provide on-call technical support during weekends as needed
 * Other duties as needed to support the IT team and operations
