If you see a problem, you investigate it and bring a solution to the table. * End-to-End Thinker: You care about the "Why" and "How," not just the "What." You want to understand how a bug affects the player and the production timeline. * Gamer at Heart: You have a deep passion for video games and an analytical eye for what makes a game "feel" polished. * Curious & Technical: You are comfortable learning new tools and potentially diving into the tech side of games to help diagnose issues. Bonus Points * Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other project management tools. * Deep passion for AI and automation tooling. * Basic knowledge of scripting or game engines. * Basic knowledge of ad network functionality. * Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment. ## Description * Release Ownership: Take full responsibility for testing all new game features within a release. You will analyze design documents, create the test plan, execute the tests, and verify the final fixes. * Bug Life-cycle Management: Identify, document, and track bugs using project and sprint tools. Assist in root cause analysis along with developers. You will be responsible for following up with different stakeholders including, Game Designers, Artists, Products etc. to ensure your "owned" topics are resolved. * Regression & Performance: Help ensure that new updates don't break existing features and that the game runs smoothly across different hardware. * Documentation: Maintain and update our internal documentation for features you oversee and test. * Task Management: Understand priority of features and bugs to maintain project velocity. Act as an advisor to stakeholders regarding prioritization of known and discovered issues. * User Advocate: Understand our user base and how they interact with a product.
