## About the Role

As a Technical Application Engineer, you will have the following skills and experience:

 * HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
 * Understand electrical and industrial systems and applications
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
 * Willingness to travel internationally
 * Able to travel to Ivybridge Monday to Friday
 * Strong problem-solving skills

## Description

As a Technical Application Engineer your duties will be as follows:

 * Provide pre- and post-sale technical support for company products
 * Support distributors, customers, and sales teams with product selection, troubleshooting and application advice
 * Respond to technical enquiries
 * Work in partnership with the sales team to convert new business
 * Assist with preparation of technical proposals, quotes and submissions
 * Monitor industry trends, ensuring you're knowledgeable on competitor activity, pricing changes and product developments
 * Support with the creation and review of technical documentation, case studies, product literature and application guides
