## About the Role

* Minimum 2 years' experience in an IT Support / Field Engineer / Helpdesk role
 * Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 deployment and troubleshooting
 * Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
 * Understanding of LAN/WAN networking
 * Experience supporting Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
 * Strong communication and problem-solving skills
 * Full UK driving licence

Desirable (Not Essential)

 * Experience within the education sector
 * Knowledge of MIS systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor)
 * Experience with audio visual / classroom technology, * Minimum 5 GCSEs (including Maths & English)
 * Level 3 IT qualification / apprenticeship (or equivalent)

Our client delivers high-quality IT support and digital transformation projects across the education, SME, and non-profit sectors, and due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their technical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional seeking a varied, hands-on role with strong career progression.

This is a field-based IT support role working in a secondary school / college environment.

You will:

 * Provide on-site technical support
 * Work closely with a central Service Desk team
 * Ensure issues are resolved efficiently and in line with SLAs
 * Deliver a high standard of customer service

Developing their technical skillset, * Install, configure and maintain IT hardware, servers, and network infrastructure

 * Support cloud-based systems and backup solutions
 * Troubleshoot Windows environments and end-user devices
 * Provide support for MIS and finance systems
 * Maintain and repair interactive classroom technology
 * Collaborate with the Service Desk team to resolve support tickets
 * Assist with IT installations and rollout projects
