## Description

We're seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to support the migration of an existing Rails application from a legacy API to a new API. This role is hands-on and backend-focused, working within an established production system.

The engineer will split time between core development work (API migration and refactoring) and ongoing Shopify-related engineering support under a shared support model.

Responsibilities:

 - Lead and execute a Ruby on Rails API migration

 - Refactor backend services, integrations, and data flows

 - Write, test, and deploy production-ready code

 - Perform release testing, bug fixes, and regression testing

 - Support Shopify-related engineering requests

 - Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure system reliability
