## Description

 * Monitor and assess risk: Monitor networks and systems for vulnerabilities, suspicious activity, and potential breaches; conduct security assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses.
 * Respond to incidents: Investigate security incidents, document findings, and support remediation efforts to reduce future risk.
 * Manage security tools: Support firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection tools to strengthen the organization's security posture.
 * Ensure compliance: Help maintain alignment with regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
 * Partner with IT teams: Collaborate with technology teams to integrate security into system architecture and application development.
 * Promote security awareness: Provide employee security awareness training and stay current on emerging threats, technologies, and cybersecurity trends.
