## About the Role

* You have a university degree in Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent education, career changers with passion for IT are also welcome.
 * You have 5+ years of professional experience in a comparable position.
 * You are driven to identify and analyze defects in development, design, and logic.
 * You have sound experience in automated as well as manual testing of backend applications considering functional as well as non-functional requirements.
 * You have a strong commitment to automated testing.
 * You are comfortable reading and analyzing source code and log files, as well as conducting in-depth technical research.
 * You have strong practical experience with at least three of the following areas:
API-Testing using Frameworks like ReadyAPI, Karate or PyCharm
basic software development in Python and/or Java
understanding and usage of database management systems (e.g. mySQL, Postgres) and queuing systems (e.g. Kafka)
CI/CD integration using Jenkins in combination with Docker and Git
JMeter for Performance and Load testing
knowledge in testing Kubernetes plugins will be a big plus

 * You thrive in collaborative environments and are confident in articulating your perspectives and insights.
 * You demonstrate intrinsic motivation and a strong commitment to advancing both your product, your team, and your own professional growth.
 * You are used to communicate in English on a professional level. German is a plus.
