## About the Role

* 4-year bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
 * Professional Engineer licensure (PE)
 * 3-7 years' experience in civil, geotechnical or structural engineering.
 * Experience in geotechnical construction design build projects.
 * Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation, Mathcad, and Excel.
 * Experience in design software such as DeepEx, Plaxis, L-Pile, All-Pile or SNail.

## Description

Russo is one of the leading specialty geotechnical design-build contractors in the Southeast with offices in Birmingham, Alabama and Fort Worth, Texas. The Design Engineer will collaborate with other team members, to develop value engineered and cost-effective solutions for our clients.

Primary Responsibilities

 * Develop cost-effective solutions for deep foundations, earth retention, slope stabilization, grouting, and ground improvement techniques.
 * Develop preliminary designs.
 * Provide engineering support for the preconstruction group.
 * Oversee and assist in the development of shop drawings.
 * Prepare designs for project managers.
