Be an expert in state-of-the-art software principles, project management, and be able to lead team members in maturing the security position of products. Navigate the balance of security and business needs while focusing on ensuring patient safety. Communicate effectively with both the "doers" and leaders of the organization. Monitor current security industry and regulatory trends to prepare organization for next generation of needs/requirements. Contributes to a software vision that aligns with the organization's vision and strategic plan. Utilizes solid understanding of device and system connectivity concepts in a medical device domain. Provides direction to technical team members that are accountable for implementing cybersecurity, integration, and connectivity deliverables.
