## Description

The Senior Scrum Master coordinates the activities for development teams, ensuring that SAFe agile principles are followed. They facilitate all team events including Iteration Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, and Retrospectives. They work to remove impediments for the team, improve processes, and mentor the team. Senior Scrum Masters support the Product Owners in maintaining the team backlog and creating increments of value. The Senior Scrum Master should have excellent interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving skills., The Senior Scrum Master leads teams through work actions that can be completed within timeboxed iterations called sprints and tracks progress through 15-minute stand-up meetings. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
