## About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, career-oriented, and customer-focused Principal Software Engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This is Hybrid position., * Twenty (20) or more years of experience with the following web application and/or front-end languages and technologies plus a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR 4 years additional experience might be substituted for a degree.

 * Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
 * Git
 * Docker/Kubernetes
 * Nginx
 * Node.js
 * Angular
 * React
 * NoSQL databases
 * Relational databases

Security Clearance Requirement:

 * Current/Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.

## Description

* Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions
 * Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects
 * Facilitate alignment and clarity on goals, outcomes, and timelines
 * Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
 * Work closely with the Chief Engineer to design feature specifications and build products
 * Conduct design and code reviews
 * Work on problems of diverse scopes where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
 * Demonstrate good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
 * Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance
 * Identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area, or systems
