## About the Role

Completion of a bachelor degree in management information systems, computer science, or a related field. Related experience may substitute for education requirement on a year-to-year basis. No specific experience required. Any combination of relevant education and experience which provides the following:

Physical Exam Required
Valid Driver's License, * Communicate effectively orally and in writing;

 * Work effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment, meet deadlines;
 * Plan and organize personal workload, coordinate with co-workers as a team
member;

 * Analyze environment, determine requirement alternatives, and make
recommendations resulting in a network product solution or implementation
fully satisfying end-user work needs;

 * Establish and maintain effective working relationships with end users.

Physical Requirements:

 * Frequently lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
 * Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
 * Frequently bend and kneel during the shift.
 * Frequently push and pull objects.
 * Frequently flex upper trunk forward at the waist and partially at the knees.
 * Frequently rotate upper trunk to the left or right while sitting or standing.

## Description

Provides technical support for laptops, PCs, mobile devices, printers and peripherals to restore service and deliver solutions to meet user requirements for all employees of the City of Lubbock., * Reviews and prioritizes user requests for service and support; schedules work;

 * Installs and tests computers and equipment, peripherals and software. Installs and configures printers;
 * Installs, repairs, and troubleshoots PC's, Printers, Electronic Technology peripherals as dictated by everyday business needs;
 * Resolves help desk issues for users;
 * Evaluates new hardware and software to determine functionality and compatibility with existing configurations.

Additional Duties:

 * Executes routine computer repairs and installation;
 * Performs related work as assigned.
