An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. + Five (5) or more years of relevant experience. + C#, SQL, Javascript, Typescript + .NET, ASP.NET, Angular, REST + Microsoft Azure Fundamentals + Proficiency in developing and maintaining enterprise service architectures + Microsoft DevOps CI/CD pipelines + Experience with CosmosDB and MS SQL Server + Preferred: + Other specific Azure technologies (Function Apps, App Insights, ARM, API Management) + Automated testing methodologies + React-Native + AI / Machine Learning ## Description The Software Engineer's role is to analyze, design and develop solutions to complex business and technical problems. The Software Engineer will work closely with Product Owners, Analysts, Project Managers, Software Architects, and the Operations group. The person must be an innovative, strategic, forward-thinking problem solver, demonstrate a high level of ownership and have a quality first mindset., + Primarily work within an agile team to deliver features, bug fixes and other work as prioritized by the business + Engage and contribute at all levels of the software development process, utilizing proficiency across a wide range of technologies to contribute to high quality, continuous improvement and developer experience + Design, develop and maintain service-oriented interfaces (REST, SOAP, etc.) for in-house and 3 rd party consumers while adhering to best practices and business requirements (cybersecurity, compliance) + Engage in peer code and design reviews, mentoring more junior developers as needed + Work with the support team and the operations team to identify components within a large distributed system that require excessive manual intervention. Recommend programmatic fixes that minimize the system's TCO. + Consult with end users on business needs, translate business needs into software requirements, and interface with IT, consultants and end users to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions. Ensure that all projects and tasks are delivered to specifications and meet business requirements., Primary focus is on daily deliverables, outputs and reporting. Accountable for managing one's own time and workflow but may be leading projects or project steps. Work is typically complex in nature requiring the incumbent to draw on previous knowledge to perform the role. Continues to build knowledge base but has a solid foundation to act independently the majority of the time. Still draws on experts and managers when needed but less frequently. Acts as a resource to less experienced staff on routine issues. Decision Impact The problems and issues faced are complex. Incumbent draws on past experience on a regular basis to solve problems and take new perspectives on existing solutions. Accountable for direct level of reasoning and decision making. Hybrid Work Position follows our hybrid work model, with a minimum of two days working in the office and the remaining days working remotely. Reporting location and frequency may be subject to change based on job role and department needs.
