In this role, you will serve as a Data Engineer supporting Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF 401), where you will design, build, and maintain data architectures and analytical solutions that transform large volumes of operational, intelligence, and mission data into actionable insights. On a day-to-day basis, you will develop scalable data pipelines that collect, integrate, process, and manage information from a variety of operational, intelligence, and enterprise systems, ensuring data is clean, accurate, accessible, and ready for analysis. Using tools such as Maven Smart System (MSS), Palantir, Power BI, Python, and AI-enabled analytics platforms, you will support mission analysis, operational assessments, and strategic decision-making efforts. You will aggregate and analyze structured and unstructured data, develop dashboards and visualizations, and create common operating picture products that help stakeholders understand complex operational environments and make informed decisions. The role also involves leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to automate data processing, identify patterns and trends, extract key information, and support predictive analytics. Working closely with engineers, analysts, operators, and mission stakeholders, you will gather requirements and develop data-driven solutions that support Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) operations, capability development, operational assessments, technology demonstrations, and acquisition efforts.
