## About the Role

* U.S. citizenship; no dual citizenship
 * Current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
 * Education: Engineering or other technical discipline related to systems engineering such as computer science, physics, or math
 * Experience: Bachelor's with 10 years of related experience OR Master's with 8 year of related experience OR PhD with 6 years of related experience
 + 6-10 years of hands-on experience supporting the systems engineering lifecycle including:
o Design and development
o Testing
o Production
o Deployment and distribution
o Operation
o Maintenance and support
o Decommissioning

 * Effective written and verbal English communication skills to work in a collaborative environment with government and contractor teams
 * Must be self-driven and able to work independently in a dynamic environment that offers stretch growth opportunities for continuous learning and development

## Description

JTEC Consulting is hiring a senior level System Engineer to provide system lifecycle support. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated analytical and technical skills to support a dynamic technical environment. Current U.S. government security access is required for consideration., * Work as part of a collaborative team supporting design, development, integration, and maintenance for complex technical systems.

 * Ensure reliable operation to meet organizational requirements.
 * Interact with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into efficient and effective system solutions.
 * Apply analytical skills for troubleshooting and issue resolution, and implement system improvements.
 * Evaluate system performance.
 * Create and maintain technical documentation.
 * Coordinate with vendor partners, as required.
 * Promote industry best practices to meet customer's requirements.
 * Other duties as assigned.
