## About the Role

* Configuration control for software and vehicle parameters.
 * Structured data formats: JSON, GeoJSON, YAML.
 * Map-based visualisation and mission planning systems.
 * MAVLink or similar telemetry/command protocols.
 * Qt (including Qt Widgets or QML)
 * Linux development and deployment environments.
 * Network communications: TCP, UDP, UART/Serial.
 * Proficiency in one or more C-like languages: C, C#, C++.
 * Strong modern Python skill-set.

Desirable Experience

 * Experience working with unmanned or autonomous systems (aerial, ground, or marine vehicles).
 * Familiarity with real-time or safety-critical systems.
 * Experience extending open-source software.

## Description

* Design, implement, and maintain ground control features for unmanned vehicles.
 * Extend and customise existing ground control applications and tooling.
 * Implement configuration control mechanisms for vehicles.
 * Develop and maintain structured configuration and mission data formats.
 * Integrate and visualise real-time telemetry and vehicle state.
 * Implement and maintain reliable communications links to vehicles.
 * Support field testing, debugging, and operational deployment.
