Experience * Three (3) to five (5) years of experience administering enterprise networks (preferred). * Experience in K–12 education or public sector environments preferred. * Experience managing multiple locations connected through WAN technologies is preferred. Certifications (Preferred) * Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) * Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) * CompTIA Network+ * CompTIA Security+ * Fortinet NSE or equivalent firewall certification * Microsoft Certified credentials Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking principles. * Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, or equivalent networking equipment. * Knowledge of routing protocols, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, and network segmentation. * Experience with wireless networking standards and wireless controller management. * Knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. * Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. * Understanding of cybersecurity principles, endpoint protection, and network security monitoring. * Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues quickly and efficiently. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining excellent customer service. Physical Requirements * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. * Ability to climb ladders and work in ceilings, network closets, and equipment rooms. * Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. * Ability to travel between district campuses. ## Description The Network Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, security, and support of the school district's network infrastructure. This position ensures reliable connectivity for students, teachers, administrators, and staff while supporting instructional technology, district operations, and cybersecurity initiatives.
