## About the Role

* Several years of commercial experience in Java backend development, with strong proficiency in Spring Boot for building microservices and server-client applications.
 * Experience with or willingness to work in polyglot environments - particularly Go-based microservices communicating via gRPC.
 * A solid understanding of SQL databases (ideally PostgreSQL) and experience with ORM frameworks.
 * Experience working with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) in distributed systems.
 * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized deployments.
 * Proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
 * Experience working in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.

## Description

* Designing and developing backend services in Java Spring Boot, forming the heart of a system that handles real-time transactions.
 * Building and maintaining gRPC-connected Go microservices, contributing to a polyglot architecture where services communicate efficiently across language boundaries.
 * Building asynchronous communication between services using message brokers, ensuring scalability and reliability of data exchange in an event-driven architecture.
 * Developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
 * Making a real impact on a product that supports the energy transition and shapes how energy is balanced on the markets of tomorrow.
