Ability to maintain confidentiality. * Desirable Experience * Experience of working in a school. * Experience of using either Bromcom, Arbor, SIMS, SIMS Finance or equivalent. Experience of working in a busy office environment. * ## Description * The Governors of Holmeswood Methodist Primary School are looking to appoint a conscientious, approachable and effective School Business Support Officer to join our small and friendly team. * Responsibilities include a wide range of administrative duties, including financial administration (processing of invoices, ordering of resources, managing transactions/accounts and reconciling monthly Oracle reports). * The role requires excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with a key ability to self-manage workload. The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, is essential. * We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check and undertake training pertinent to their role. * The successful candidate will share and contribute to our vision to "Do all the good you can, by all the means you can" (John Wesley). * Visits to school are welcome by prior arrangement.
