## About the Role

* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or similar, or equivalent experience
 * Strong experience with Oracle, SQL Server, SQL, data modelling, ETL tools and large datasets
 * Good Python skills and basic understanding of data science and machine learning
 * Familiarity with Spark , Jupyter Notebooks , Linux/Windows environments
 * Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, Azure and Databricks
 * Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker and ingestion tools such as ADF
 * Strong communication, analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills

* Design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
 * Monitor, troubleshoot and improve data quality, reliability and platform performance
 * Support cloud data architecture , data modelling, automation, documentation and deployment standards
 * Partner with data scientists, analysts, product owners and business stakeholders to deliver practical data solutions
 * Keep up to date with emerging cloud and data engineering technologies
