## Description

The Application Architect is responsible for defining and governing the architecture of business applications across the organisation. The role ensures that applications are scalable, secure, resilient, maintainable, and aligned to business strategy, enterprise standards, and target architecture principles.

Business Area

The Application Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, infrastructure, security, data, and delivery functions to shape technology solutions and guide delivery teams through the solutions design authority process and to implementation.

This role plays a key part in modernisation initiatives including cloud adoption, API-first integration, microservices, event-driven architecture, and legacy transformation.

The successful candidate will work with teams to drive the implementation of hybrid multi-cloud solutions, establish architectural standards, and ensure alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and global principles. This role requires close collaboration with senior stakeholders, external partners, and global teams to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready technology platforms., Define and deliver end-to-end application architecture for strategic initiatives and enterprise platforms.
Translate requirements into deliverable technical designs that contribute to the creation or enhancement of long-term technology assets
Produce high-level and low-level solution designs aligned to enterprise standards.
