## About the Role

Essential

 * Extensive experience building microservices using Java and Spring Boot
 * Experience developing front-end web applications using JavaScript and/or TypeScript, React, HTML and CSS
 * Experience using Git for version control
 * Experience with repository management platforms such as GitHub or GitLab
 * Experience using Docker and Docker Compose
 * Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including platforms such as GitLab, GitHub or Jenkins
 * Experience working with cloud technologies, particularly AWS or Azure
 * Experience working within agile delivery environments

Desirable

 * Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
 * Experience building and integrating with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, or SQL databases such as PostgreSQL
 * Understanding of web standards, accessibility requirements and software development best practices

Additional Advantage

 * Experience developing microservices using C#
 * Experience building solutions that integrate with large language models (LLMs) using tools such as Vercel AI, LangChain or similar frameworks
 * Experience working with government digital design systems and templating frameworks such as Nunjucks
